Friday Spotlight (4)

The Friday Spotlight will focus on a blog that I've run across in my blog roaming that doesn't have a big following yet. I will spotlight the blog and let my readers know about the reasons I like the blog and what it has to offer. Hopefully, it will garner that blog some new followers and my readers a new place to visit for more book blogging fun.

This weeks spotlight blog is: Storywings

Storywings currently has 39 followers.

Storywings is a blogger from Australia. I like her blog for a lot of reasons. I originally became aware of this blog from a post on another blog about a new challenge they had joined. The challenge was hosted by Storywings and I am considering joining this one myself. It is, The Paranormal Reading Challenge. Anyone who is remotely interested in reading any paranormal will be really interested in this one. Follow the link to check it out and sign up!

I love the Charles Eliot quote at the top of the blog. "Books are the quietest, most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers."

Across the top you can find her reviews by Title and by author, which gives the reader instant accessibility to what they are looking for. She has a "currently reading" selection and a Shelfari list of "must reads" as well as an "on the bookpile" list. She gives a list at the top of the blog with upcoming reviews, I liked that idea.

She has an area for the weekly meme's that she participates in and allows the reader to go right to each one with a click. She also has a section for her most recent reviews, a blog roll and a list of books that are in transit. She lists the challenges she is participating down the side, several of which my readers may be interested in.
