Dr. Al Sears, expert on longevity and heart health has written a new book that will appeal to many readers out there who think they don't have the time to work out. According to Sears, in just 12 minutes a day you can build lung strength, bullet-proof your heart and lose weight! This book throws out conventional wisdom on exercise and weight loss. It gives solid research, proving that Cardio and Aerobic training are not giving people the kind of health benefits they are touted to give. In fact, they could be bad for your health.

I enjoyed the idea of not being the gym hours at a time slaving over Aerobics or Cardio workouts. 12-minutes of exertion followed by rest, seems right up my ally. I'm a diabetic and I struggle with my weight, after reading this book. I think I'm going to try this program for myself. I'll keep you posted on my progress. Dr. Al Sears, M.D. currently owns and operates a successful integrative medicine and anti-aging clinic in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, with over 20,000 patients. His cutting-edge therapies and reputation for solving some of the most difficult-to-diagnose cases attract patients from around the world.

I love the idea of what 12 minutes a day can do as opposed to slaving for hours in the gym!

I've to confess that I don't do exercise, so I'm more than happy to learn it is actually possible to do something as light as this, compared to hours in gym!
